The Owner
Gordon Fitch, 47 years old, has been riding bikes since he was 10 years old. His passion for biking has involved him with building bikes, trikes, chops and custom vehicles over the years. He has attended a lot of rallies in the past 25 years throughout the UK and Europe.
His past work has taken him all over the world in a variety of roles within the Petro-Chemical Industry. He has also been a publican, a garage owner, a motorbike shop owner, an iron work fabricator and a lumberjack! From this varied and richly experienced past, Gordon brings his passion for motorbikes to the Funeral Industry.
His belief in the provision of a dignified and respectful service for the last ride of fellow bikers has led to the creation of Blackhawk Hearse Ltd. His attendance at many of his friends motorcycle funerals has spurred his desire to provide a memorable service.
Gordon lives with his partner, Maggie, in Stakeford, Northumberland. He is the Chairman of a local independent Motorcycle Club that organises a large Annual Easter Egg Run which attracts more than 500 bikers from all over the UK.
Gordon will be attending some Motorbike Rallies throughout the UK in 2005 with his hearse to demonstrate the service offered. |
